USB Mini cables are notorious for being charge only. Many of the devices that use that type of cable do not need data transfer, so they leave off two of the USB contacts, providing only power and ground. If we connect a only power USB cable, the electronics won´t be detected by the device manager from the PC.

Note:

All Rheonics sensors that have been ordered with an USB port are provided with an USB cable that is fully compatible with our electronics (SMET should always operate with a power supply)
