Rheonics Sensor “Fixed Transmitter” Setup
Rheonics SRV viscometer and SRD density and viscosity meter comprise the sensor probe, the sensor cable, and the electronics. All three parts are required for the sensor to operate. The sensor probe is installed in line and in contact with the fluid, while the electronics are usually placed elsewhere in an electronic cabinet (SME-DRM) or outdoors and fixed on a near wall or operator’s accessible area (SME-TRD and -TR), with the sensor cable running from the probe to the electronics.
Rheonics offers a “Fixed Transmitter“ (-FT) setup that allows the SRV Inline Viscometer or SRD Density and Viscosity meter to have the electronics SME unit integrated directly, creating a single-piece sensor unit installed in the line containing all features of communication and local display.
This setup is compatible with SME-TRD (includes display) and -TR (blind cover) electronics variants. Review all electronic variants here. Review SME CAD models here.

When Rheonics FT Setup is ordered by client, the sensor is delivered fully assembled for installation. If reassembly is required on site, contact Rheonics Team for instructions.
How to request and configure?
The “FT“ Setup is a sensor configuration feature that is added to the full sensor configuration codes.
To order a Rheonics sensor with integrated transmitter, the “FT” Fixed Transmitter option should be selected in the online SRV RFQ or SRD RFQ. Electronics variants SME-TRD (E1) and -TR (E2) are compatible.
